Dr Yamal Patel, together with a team of top specialists doctors at 3RD PARK HOSPITAL do run a hybrid ENDOMETRIOSIS SURGICAL COURSE (TRAINING), a Continuing Professional Development course (CPD) , that focuses on Endometriosis and Adenomyosis, and is open to laparoscopic surgeons interested in advancing skill to encompass this complex procedure, operating in Kenya and or East Africa.

Our accredited clinical education and training programs on endometriosis are designed to help the trainees provide innovative solutions and improve patient care. Endometriosis is a chronic, fibrotic and hormone dependent disease presented mainly with pain conditions, infertility and heavy menstrual bleeding, is often debilitating, progressive and many times recurrent that considerably affects a womanʼs wellbeing and quality of life.

Our endometriosis multidisciplinary team at 3rd Park Hospital is committed to delivering targeted educational solutions aimed at helping you achieve procedural and clinical proficiency by taking you through the various forms of this complex condition - ovarian, S.P.E and D.I.E. along often with adenomyosis as we take you through the surgical steps of this complex situation. We plan to operate on around 15 women suffering from endometriosis and adenomyosis.

• Principles of D.I.E. surgery and the relevant anatomy
