For EDIBLES PACKAGING SOLUTIONS in Kenya, Europack Industries Ltd is a front-runner. To be honest - packaging is a bit of an environmental problem whose impact is phenomenon. Edibles packaging does what it says on the tin – it can be eaten along with the product it is protecting and can be turned into packaging without the need for preservative.

We are experts in biodegradable packaging solutions. We create a plastic-like packaging that can be safely eaten. We apply edible packaging when wrapping sandwiches, burgers and other snacks, and when replacing plastic sachets for sugar, instant coffee and noodle seasoning.

Unfortunately, edible packaging has not yet made it to mass manufacturing levels in Kenya but the potential is there and we are exploring avenues to make the service available locally.
