At Nairobi Oculoplasty Centre, we specialize in cosmetic and constructive facial hence experts in eyelids, orbit and tear drain system. We perform tests to establish the extent of the damage. Based on the results of tests, an ideal method of treatment is recommended, either surgically, through tightening of the muscle that elevates the eyelid or, in cases of severe ptosis, where the levator muscle is extremely weak, sling operation is performed to enable the forehead muscles to elevate the eyelids and permit full field of vision and achieve symmetry with the opposite upper eyelid.
