Established under Section 30 of the Children's Act 2001 and inaugurated on 27th September 2002, The National Council For Children's' Services is a Government agency that co-ordinates all activities pertaining to children rights and welfare and an advisor to the Government on all aspects thereof.

Our mission is to ensure that children rights and welfare ‘s existing legislations and policies are enforced, resources mobilized for delivery of child rights, extensive research done on children issues and providing conducive environment for publicizing the outcome and to co-ordinate the implementation of the national child protection framework.

For us to obtain satisfactory results for the above objectives, we deal with the following areas:
• Media participation.
• Data collection on children issues.
• Policy development and legal Issues
• Resource mobilization management and organizational development.
• Advocacy and partnerships.
