• Ectopic pregnancy
• Pelvic abscess (pus)
• Pelvic adhesions (painful scar tissue)
• Infertility
• Pelvic inflammatory disease
• Reproductive cancers
Types of laparoscopic treatment we offer include:
• Hysterectomy (removal of the uterus
• Removal of the ovarie
• Removal of ovarian cysts
• Removal of fibroids
• Blood flow to fibroids
• Endometrial tissue ablation (endometriosis treatment)
• Adhesion removal
Why we prefer performing laparoscopy
Diagnostic laparoscopies are used to identify a cause for your symptoms and plan treatment. The operation will help to find out if you have any of the following conditions:
• Endometriosis (cells lining the womb are found elsewhere in the body)
• Pelvic infection
• Scar tissue, for example from previous surgery
• Damaged fallopian tubes
• Ovarian cyst
• Removal of fibroid
• Removal of the uterus or hysterectomy
Laparoscopy generally has a shorter healing time than open surgery. It also leaves smaller scars.
