Generally, damaged insulators, damaged fence posts, overgrown vegetation and broken wires are the most likely reasons for an electric fence to not perform optimally. An electric fence needs to be maintained properly, or there really is no point in having one in the first place.

Where to Install Electric Fences
Electric Fences can be installed in three main places:
• On top of an existing wall –most common type of electric fence for residential properties. This design is known as a wall top electric fence.
