The El Nino rains season has started, leading to over flooding hence the need to take precaution when using electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, fuses, sockets outlets plugs and switches.
• Never handle electrical items when your hand are wet
• Avoid / do not allow power cable connections to become wet
• Do not use electrical appliances that have become wet
• Avoid using electric-powered lawn mowers and other tool in the rain or wet grass or conditions
• Use an earth leakage circuit breaker to help prevent electrocutions and electrical shocks injuries
