Incorrect use of LPG domestic gas cylinders can result in explosions, fires, loss of property and most importantly, loss of lives. To prevent this it’s always important to be cautious when using LPG Gas Cylinders at home. The following are emergency precaution that you should follow when you’re using an LPG Gas Cylinder at home.

• Always check the rubber tubes associated with your LPG cylinders and ensure that they are not damaged or leaked.
• Store your LPG gas cylinders and tanks in a place that’s flat. They should always be away from source of light.
• Make sure that your Cylinders are never placed in closed areas.
• Open all doors and windows if you suspect LPG GAS LEAK
• While the gas leak is suspected, all electronic gadgets and equipment, including all lights and fans should be kept switched off.
• People present at the place should immediately take the cylinder or the source of the gas leak to an open area in order to allow the gas to diffuse.
• Children should always be kept away from the cooking area and most importantly the LPG cylinders.
