Having the desire to mitigate poverty, Dr. parag V. Patel, the founder of FICCS, began offering charity heart surgeries after completing medical school. FICCS was founded in the late 1980’s by Patel’s grandfather who started by helping poor children in Nairobi, Kenya. We are supported by the Vanguard Group also founded by the Patel family which comprises of Nairobi X-Ray, Meditec Systems and Fuji Film Kenya.

We offer the following programs:
• Provision of schools in the slum areas with daily lunches, medical supplies, books, sanitary pads and uniforms.
• Prevention of FGM (Female Genital Mutilation) and early marriages by supporting rural Maasai women and girls.
• Provide scholarships.
• Supporting disabled orphans and giving medical donations.
All the above aid in reducing the issues facing women and children in the country.
